As of early next year, it was recently declared that there will be housing that would surely be available for low income individuals. This is due to a program that will also revitalize neighborhoods that have had many a foreclosed home.
Recently, Volusia County had approved a contract with Serenity House for about one million three hundred thousand dollars, in federal stimulus funding, in order to buy, as well as to rehabilitate foreclosed homes in the east sides and in the west sides of the county.
